Plant i.d. deciduous, arching sprays

I have a plant that has never flowered but I am sure I planted it over 7 years ago.
It is arching in habit, with a graceful look. It began unfurling its leaves around mid march: top picture is the upper branches and bottom picture the lower branches....

The nearby rooty branches are from a jasminum officianale.

I can't see the leaf vein pattern but the shape of the leaves in the last pic look like snowberry (Symphoricarpos). There was some here when we bought the house and it's a thug. I still find bits coming up from time to time.

There certainly looks to be some snowberry in there … amongst other things. 😊

I am wondering if this might be a Lonicera, like fragrantissima /purpusii, the winter flowering one.
When do you prune this shrub?
The bark if I have the right plant has some flakey bits which winter honeysuckle have and the leaves seem to be in the same formation with the skinny twiggy bits you get.

I would have thought it should have had the odd flower though maybe you have pruned it at the wrong time.

Just a few thoughts to add to any confusion:o)

    Thanks for new pics.
    Sadly still far from clear.
I cannot tell what it is.
Still need clear pics...just of the mystery shrub ...maybe on a plain piece of paper.
Suggest you take many pics and post THE best!..Delete the rest.

Below are a few pics to show Symphoricarpos leaves...they can be rather varied.
