No flower arranging experience needed...show us what you got!

Following on from the most gorgeous flower arranging taking place on GW this week, I thought I would do my own. No skill required, I just cut a few of the current flowering plants in my suburban garden and threw them together in a small vase.  Nature really knows best, would love to see other people’s gardens in a vase!

    So pretty.

I wondered if you would be interested in having a look through this old thread from 2017.

@Busy-Lizzie exactly that. Such pretty effects with a handful of flowers. I guess the challenge is to keep it up to date, with a constant stream of new blooms, because they don’t last long!

Thanks for that, @Busy-Lizzie. What a lovely thread. Shame there is no "Classics" section on this forum.

I can’t imagine there are many questions on this site that haven’t been asked before, but for us newbies we really don’t need to be told how unoriginal we are by the oldies.
i am sure it was once new and interesting Even for you once upon a time.

@LilyW all these posters are lovely and I am sure that wasn't their intention at all, lol. Merely, "If you like X, check out Y."

Not yet, but there is this one instead.

My daffodils are over but I'm waiting for enough of something else to come out. There are botantical tulips and violas looking pretty but I don't want to pick them.

I don't like picking any of my flowers, as they last so much longer outside than indoors. My house is full of rescue daffodils at the moment though, as so many were felled by the bad weather earlier. Some are a bit ragged, but they are one thing that I can bear to pick, as the daffodil meadow means some can be spared without impact.
