No wonder there are so many spammers on here if website designers are actively promoting it.
Well done @paulsam.0921PGulVzkz for being honest.  I don't like any more than the bare essentials for outdoor lighting, because it can be intrusive to neighbours and can upset the wildlife, but I hope business picks up for you.

Hi Jenny ,yes that was the “secret advice “ i was given 😱i am a self employed fence erector by trade 25 years in and i have never needed to do any form of marketing ,but when you get into the murky world of retail and online advertising its all about competing with some bloke who has a warehouse full of dodgy garden furniture and a load of mates with serious internet skills 😱Unfortunately we have a lovely showroom but zero internet skills ..but ever the optimist😂 things will pick up and i wont be paddling in the cesspit of dodgy practices again 👍

Sounds like just the sort of local business I'd want to deal with if I were in need of a fence or whatever :) I don't suppose you're in my area though.

I'll just add this @paulsam.0921PGulVzkz  - by being honest about what's happened, you've actually done yourself a favour. I think anyone who reads this thread, and is needing your services, would  try and contact you [by PM option on your settings] for info, and possibly employ you.  :)
As said - if that's what web designers are actively doing, then shame on them. I should contact my nephew and see if that's the norm. That's what he does for a living.  ;)

    Totally agree @Fairygirl 😊
@paulsam.0921PGulVzkz has proved, by his actions, that he’s a man of sound principles and certainly seems to be one of the Good Guys 👍

Thank you that means a lot 👍well i have run my fencing business for 25 years and never had a complaint about my workmanship ( but i bet my customers have mentioned how much tea i drink 😂)things are looking up on the rattan furnishing business today ,a customer actually purchased a set 😁instead of like the last 6 months telling us what a lovely showroom we have 😂

Tea is a vital part of a job. No workman or woman is any good if he/she doesn't drink copious amounts of tea.... ;)

Good luck with it all @paulsam.0921PGulVzkz  :)
