Feature Lighting recommendations please

hello ,i have a nice simple rear garden with decking leading down to a low maintenance garden ,i have lighting inset in the decking ,but i am really struggling to find some nice feature lighting in the lawn area .When we were on holiday last year the hotel had some stunning light up multi colour planters and features ,but after months of searching i cant find anyone in the uk who sells these ? I think i have tried every style of solar lights ,and every year they are introduced to the recycling bin ..Help Please

I rather think @nutcutlet meant that introducing lights into the garden was not really a good idea unless you need it to safely get from one bit to another during the hours of darkness.
Basic solar lighting should be viable for more than 12 months if sited correctly  :)
  • thanks for the explanation 👍i have lighting inset into my decking and on the steps leading down to the lawn ..but what i am looking for is more of a lighting statement piece ..i wish i could find a picture from hols ..must search harder 👍
  • hi ,is this the kind of feature lighting that your thinking of ?

I expect that before very long someone will find just the right company advertising exactly what Paul is seeking 🤔

  • The sun is shining OP 👍we have a rattan furniture showroom in Longton Stoke on Trent who have a range of these lights .We bought our rattan dining suite from them last year and i have my eye on a huge double planter ,they do large lamps ,plinths ,planters all light up and IP65 rated ,i think the owner said they are all rechargeable and run for 10 hours between charges ?
Try Lotus garden Collections on a search engine 👍

£300 each and they change colour at the push of a button. Not for me, though.
