One small thing to consider @LeadFarmer

Below is the difference between the old and the new lids, that is 7 years of UV damage, so I'll be using a UV protection spray on them to try keep them in good condition.

I didn't realise such a product existed, I might look into getting some UV protect spray for mine, thanks for the tip. Is there a brand that you can recommend?

Evening @LeadFarmer try looking for 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Not the cheapest out there, but is one of the best.

Thanks, I've just ordered some of that from Amazon, will use it on my Keter store and Keter Unity table. My garden is south facing and gets full sun, so protection might be needed. Thanks.

The 303 Aerospace Protectant arrived today so I wiped a coat of it onto the Keter box with some kitchen roll.

The Keter box up is starting to fill up with gear, I really ought to fit a shelf inside..

Spot on that @LeadFarmer the smaller unit would have struggled to fit all that in.

As for the 303, if you have a microfibre cloth, that will spread the spray much better and it will go a lot farther and give an even finish.

The storage box it turning into something very useful and hides unsightly items from view in the garden.

    Great thread.

Gonna get one for my wheelie bins.

Getting my drive re-done next week and want something to put the bins in at the end of it.

South facing so definitely gonna get some of that UV spray.

    Thanks, guys 👍🏼
  • Guys, can I ask if anyone has ever had a problem with these? My partner bought one to store her wheelchair in and for the life of me I can not get it together properly. It is when I add the metal bar that brace's across the top of the back panel. It is like it is just a bit too long and so the side panels won't sit straight. Tried accessing their customer service only to get zero help. Just to clarify that I don't think that this is me doing something silly, either I think the metal bar is to long or the moulding in that part of the side panels is wrong. Anyone else had to 'force' it together?

It's a long time since I put ours together.  I presume the metal bar is almost the last thing fitted.  If so, check that all the panels are fitting together properly.  I do recall that some sections were not easy to get fully into place.
