  It should do if it's growing well and is healthy 
  Look for the signs as mentioned earlier by @Cambridgerose12. If it's definitely a bearded Iris, it should produce something - fingers crossed.

  Sometimes American sites don’t always give the info UK growers want though.  Probably best to look up your particular plant on a British site.
