You could probably get your lettuce out soon if they've been hardened off a bit @Sheps , depending on where you're putting them - perhaps a cloche or similar would do if you feel it's going to be a bit chilly. They're actually quite tough once hardened off a bit. I've been putting mine out during warmer days, even though they're much smaller than that, and are staying inside as cut and come again crops . Low to mid teens is fine for them, if it isn't too windy like today. The biggest problem is slugs.

Thanks @Fairygirl I have been trying to harden them off, they have been out for the last few days but, the wind today has given them a bit of a battering, I think they will have to be planted out at the weekend so I can get ready for the Toms.
I'll just have to alternate between fleece and Veggiemesh on the cages when it gets too cold.
It's always that balance, isn't it? I bought more dahlias this year and I'm just juggling everything constantly! I sowed morning glories a few days ago and lots of them have germinated - no idea what I'm going to do with them. Loads of them, and I haven't even looked at the ones in the growhouse!

Thanks @philippasmith2 and yes the salads are thriving, maybe a bit too much as I can't get them planted out due to the low temperatures.
