In answer to your post' Warning: This maybe make you even more confused, because I'm very confused.

I planted some seeds in a pot last Spring of Giant Italian Coriander. It was slow to germinate and therefore I forgot them. Towards the end of the summer I noticed there were really nice plants in the pot, albeit they were small. The plants went through the winter without any care or shelter from me. They're now looking really healthy and I'm looking forward to seeing what develops.

Here's the confusing part, I bought the packet off ebay, they were titled as 'ITALIAN CORIANDER MOROCCO GIANT FLAT', but the description of them lower down the webpage says 'HERB PARSLEY ITALIAN MOROCCO GIANT FLAT' - so goodness knows what they are, or are they one of the same?

In any case, they were quite hardy, though slow to germinate.

That's a perfect description of parsley, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if it turns out to be flat leafed parsley

Amazing.... When I first came to the UK I mistakenly bought some parsley from the supermarket thinking they were coriander and chucked loads of them into my cooking. BIG mistake... I'm still quite adverse to the taste of parsley even now...
