Yes. It must feel wonderfully squidgy in bare feet. I'm a barefoot gardener wherever possible. Drives OH up the wall. This time of year there are wonderful squishy mossy bits. They will disappear later so I enjoy them while I can. PS I love walking in the rain too.
We inherited my grandpa's croquet set, around 40 years ago. We've never had a lawn flat enough to use it - pity really. I remember playing croquet on grandpa's lawn, which was too small really, but cut - as they all were in those days - very short, and rolled flat. Woe betide anyone who cultivated daisies in their lawns in those days.
I think sometimes my "lawn" is a flowery mead, but mostly it's just a SSSN.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I think the best of these are:
1. Site of Special Scientific Neglect
2. Bees Dinner Table
3. Outback
But whatever you call yours, it's been interesting and amusing to read your ideas.
THANK YOU
