I love easy questions. I absolutely loathe Red Hot Pokers (Kniphofia) for no rational reason. I simply can't stand the things. My parents moved to a new house when I was in my mid teens and there were loads in the garden. My mother didn't like them much either so I had great fun going round the garden with a carving knife, swinging it like a sword and beheading the lot of them.
I don’t really have a dislike for plants that I can think off. Red robin photinia and buddleia have both been removed from my garden. As nice as they are I could not be bothered with the pruning needed to keep them in check. There is a creeping periwinkle of some sort too that I regret planting many years ago that has taken over a section of the garden and I cannot get rid of it despite my efforts.
Ivy, was great at the start but took over part of the garden, very tough job to remove.
Bluebells, they too are great, had a small patch in the garden where they grew, but over time they are everywhere, in small patches all over the garden, tough to contain them in a certain area.
My dislikes are well documented on this forum. Ceanothus ( creepy) forsythia ( too yellow for spring) sweet peas ( dead at the bottom smelly at the top) tulips ( plastic flowers for a week or so then watch the leaves die) and of course parsnips ( yuk)
