Can anyone identify this tree?

    I wondered if it was a type of ilex (holly).
    I couldn't see the serrated leaf edges in the previous photo, but I can in the new ones.
    Just a guess

    That rules out Sarcococca completely.
    Now looks like a very well pruned Prunus.

    As mentioned earlier, it's a Portuguese Laurel, Prunus Lusitanica 'Augustifolia'.

    That was my very first suggestion, although I missed the 'Angustifolia' cultivar mention. ;)
