    The Reid family he wrote to lived on this street, Largo Road, Lundin Links, Leven, Fife

    As he wrote from Perth, and I suspect he's no longer with us, he could be buried in the Polish War Graves there.. or of course he could have gone back to Poland..

    @WAMS
    John le Carré ?..

    Can anyone work out his surname? I'm seeing Milujuski but that doesn't appear to be correct..  is the 'M' something else?..

    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Google Lens apparently has the best AI handwriting reader in the world. It still can't make any sense of this guy's writing though. :D

    I think I can see his surname as something like Milujuski. I’ve checked this spelling against Polish surnames online and nothing comes up exactly the same. Anybody here have a good knowledge of Polish?

    Out of interest, has anyone else noticed how his handwriting is much more fluid and confident when he writes his own name compared to when he is writing in English?

    Let’s romanticise further. New idea, but a bit unlikely:

     I to write here one novelette in English “Spring Announcer”.
