Looks like / Roman 3 to me but still March anyway
The use of what seems to be quotation marks is interesting.
I to write here one novellette in English " spring (announcer?) "
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    11. lty. 41.  I think.. = 11. Feb. 41.

The romantic in me would like to think he was one of the 8000 Polish Airmen in Britain at that time.. 145 of whom fought in the Battle of Britain 1940..   we owe them much..

This link shows how many Polish Airforce men called Zbigniew were here at that time..

    Tuesday (Tuesplay) 11 M(arch) 71

    My best friends!

I do wait from your letter,
    but alas in vain. Why?
Perhaps you have my letter not to retorke (toque means 'again' or 'renew') or "retorne"  [ie "perhaps you don't have my letter to return an answer"]
After operation I am feeling good.
Where I do come at home, I knew nothing of it.
    How are you now?
I will ____ at home very soon, but I can not.
I am very sorry that I have not one word from you.
Now is here very nice out.
I am very so (you're) of you.  ?  I am very do yearn of you [? is the recipient a sweetheart?]
I do write here one novelette in English "Spring Announcer"
Perhaps after my writing do end, I do give you to read.

    So long,
good buy! Cheerio! Yours Sincerely _____

    Notes in bold.

    My notes in bold italics.

I'm currently deciphering my dad's wartime letters from Canada - not the same problem with language though.   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

This letter is indeed a gorgeous thing... also a rather touching cri de coeur from a very lonely man. I hope he found his friends. It is just the sort of letter which might inspire a whole novel.

Also, I am wondering if @Marlorena enjoys Agatha Christie, Ngaio Marsh and Conan Doyle stories!

Ì think at the end it might say "I am very for yearn of you."

I wondered if it might say above "where I do cure at home;" however, his spelling is otherwise good, so it's dubious.

Was thinking the same, it's the basis of what could be a good novel, there's enough scope to let a writer's imagination flourish.

The letter is a addressed to Mr and Mrs, so it's not likely a tryst.

Thinking also of the person/s who kept the letter in their gardening book, the letter obviously meant something to the receivers.

I notice the last word on the top line of the senders address begins with 'Flug....', which is German for flight, i think. Could the sender be from an airforce unit?

Still some words I’m not sure about, but here is my take.
