Good morning @Fairygirl and @scroggin and everyone else...the lettuce plants have grown to a reasonable size now, so I'm itching to plant them out in the raised bed but, I'm just a little concerned about the nighttime temperatures, long range forecast is showing about 5°c for the next few weeks, so do you think the young plants can stand the low temperatures?
I have some veg frames and fleece that I can use if needed once planted out.

Raised beds will be lined and filled by the weekend in preparation for planting out once it warms up a bit.
Yours sound like they're starting to get a move on, looking forward to seeing them 🙂
I might join you in a wee cheese sandwich later in the year
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
They'd have their eye on the carrots you've sown too...
