    It’s the weather causing it I reckon I striped mine all down and most of them came back without black spot but a couple have it on the new growth .I’m blaming the weather anyway ,there isn’t really a cure especially this late in the year .

    @Marlorena is your Mutabilis ever out
    of flower? Seems incredibly prolific; like it’s stuck in its first flush continuously.

    I really like Mrs John Laing. Pink is my favourite colour for roses. Also says online it has strong fragrance. How do you rate this one?

    Your 'Bathsheba' is looking really good @Tack .. lovely borders too.. what's the pink rose in 2nd pic?..

    @Jelina
    ..thank you !..

    @Alfie_
    yes it is continuous.. always colourful when it's hot and dry..

    'Mrs John Laing' has a lovely sweet scent, but it's not continuous.. two flushes with a gap.  It also has the advantage of being virtually thornless, and quite good disease resistance, considering the type..
    It takes very high rank amongst 19thC roses..  but 'Gertrude Jekyll' would supersede for modern tastes..
