    @LunarSea My Panicums are all showing sighs of growth at the base.

    Some signs of life finally. Little red-tipped shoots are emerging. Phew!  :)

    @LunarSea It might be worth taking a mental note, or in my case it has to be written of the date you see signs of life. It will reassure you next year. Something lovely to look forward to especially in November when it still has a good shape, that really adds something to the garden so late in the season.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
