Not a question on plants but sometimes it is good to say 'thank you' to a special poster who takes time to explain to new and old gardeners alike.
Some gardeners  post in the hope of her reply, as they know it will be good sound advice. She has certainly helped me. So if you are a regular poster, just joined or just like to have a read perhaps you would like to share your appreciation? Thanks to her help on this forum gardens up and down the country are better places.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

@GardenerSuze, I couldn't agree more. Aswell as a giver of sound advice on gardening issues, I greatly enjoy her tales and photos of her mountain exploits.

@Fairygirl, hope you get some great ' hill days ' this year 🤞. You're stories and pictures are far from boring, as a fellow mountain/outdoor lover it's great to share your adventures 😊

@GardenerSuze couldn't agree more, always good advice given and I too always enjoyed the pictures from her walks up in the hills, especially the wildlife.

A credit to the forum without a doubt.

Absolutely @GardenerSuze, @Fairygirl seems to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of plants and horticultural but just as important, real kindness too so thank you very much, we are so lucky here to have this help!  :)

    I'm seriously embarrassed now!
    Nowhere near encyclopaedic @clematisdorset - I only know what I know.  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Another grateful thanks from me to fairygirl as well as the many other wonderful folks on this forum. I always know sound advice and careful guidance will be given here, even my hapless adventures with my potted terrace have benefit from all the shared knowledge.

And a good internet friend to me too,  always good to talk to her.

A very well deserved thread @GardenerSuze for @Fairygirl. I, for one, always know when Fairygirl gives some advice that it is sound, sensible and correct and one borne out of experience and a wonderful knowledge of gardening in general. I never doubt her advice.( And I, too, enjoy seeing the wonderful places she has walked or visited).
