Good as collectors' pieces, but I think better en masse.  Would you agree that the winter aconites spoil the show?

Crikey I like polar bear now. I have to admit that I'm a push over for snowdrops. I even have a snowdrop brooch  :#

    Beautiful.

A friend had a lovely necklace..Silver and enamel.
Told me it was made Sheila Fleet from Orkney.
I had never heard of her.
Since then I have seen her exquisite jewelry for sale in shops.
Snowdrops are just one of her themes.
I still do not own anything made by her...but I can dream!

I love her green enamel and silver brooch, love the pendants too. Strangely, I prefer the silver to gold, I think it complements the flower more. I too can only dream @Silver surfer

  • @Silver surfer Thankyou for posting the photos of G Polar Bear. The bulbs were only just through in the pot which drew my attention. With a name like Polar Bear I assumed it was a large snowdrop too. For me I was instantly hooked !

There were lots of different ones to choose from, whilst I was looking a little girl ran past and stopped in her tracks." Oh Snowdrops"  she said and her face lit up at the sight. Loved by everyone I think.
