Too true @Fairygirl. I've had a little google for seeds in France and can't get Summer Holiday but have found one called Midas which is worth a try. The same nursery also sells San Marzano tomato seeds and proper radicchio which I've never seen here and cavolo nero ditto. Never seen here in markets, SMs or seed displays.
Happy days.

Don't tempt me. At least not this year, but at some point I'd love your thoughts on seed suppliers. I used Graines de Folie for most of my veggies this year.
I don't buy many seeds these days. Those I do are kept in the fridge in Tupperwares so they keep well and I don't sow whole packets at one go. I tend to buy varieties I can't get as seeds or fresh veg round here or perennial flowering plants as they are expensive to buy here compared to Belgium where I was before moving here.
I also belong to a Vendée wide gardening club and we do free plant swaps between members and also organise a spring plant fair with professional nurserymen and women selling their goodies. I have friends at patchwork who belong to a local one in Les Sables d'Olone and run under the umbrella association Jardiniers de France which organises exchanges of knowledge and plants so maybe there's something similar near you.
