It is one of the later variety's to start growing.... When I bought some from a nursery a few years ago they looked like empty pots of twigs but soon got going. Due to this they weren't on display at the time so I had to ask for them.

@WonkyWomble I agree yesterday I checked on my G Rozanne I can just see a couple of twigs whilst some other Hardy Geraniums are showing green. I agree G C's won't display just twigs. There is a nursery nearby where everything is on display, I just check the roots are healthy before buying.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

Sounds like us self employed gardeners aren't so daft after all eh @GardenerSuze 😉

I'd just wait a bit longer into spring, can usually pick them for £10 (2-3L pot) in garden centre the one I go to sells them for £3 in 1 litre pots. I've divided mine last year it sulked most of last year. Can always give geranium Orion a try more mould shaped excellent autumn foliage.

Farmer Gracy have them (bare root), with a discount price if you buy 3 or 10. There is also free p&p if you order before midnight tonight.

I might possibly have taken advantage of this offer 😉.
