I have a whole stack of hitherto useless facts in my head … yesterday I used one of the facts (a chanter is part of a set of bagpipes) … today I’ve used another … at this rate there’ll be room for a load more useless facts to accumulate in there 🤯

In removing leaves from the lawn, quite a number of tiny, hiding slugs have found their way into the garden waste bin this week. Bonus!

I haven't gone on any midnight hunts yet this year, but have found that to be the most reliable way of preventing damage - catch the b*ggers in the act ;)

Even midday has been too cold for me.  And I doubt if slugs emerge at below zero.

Don't you have a compost heap?  Shame.
