Thanks, there is some useful thoughts here, and I’ll have a look at the supplements.  There seems to be no evidence at all for the Apple cider vinegar and lemon juice drink though.
It’s amazing that some people really don’t get colds and flu, lucky you! I haven’t had anything since before COVID, so maybe I can go 15 years too.

@a1154 it boosts your gut system and a healthy gut is vital to a healthy immune system, hence the advice to eat plenty of fresh fruit and veg.

a1154, I don't know why I don't get colds,Avon lady called last week,it was bucketing down, her hair was soaked, she had a stinking cold,I (naturally) invited her in.... she said it was her second cold since November, she didn't want to give it to me.... she didn't! I don't know about lucky, I have had a problem almost a year  was put on emergency cancer pathway, saw gynae consultant and discovered by accident I have a Cystocele, which since November has progressed to stage 2, I can't even get through on the phone to the surgery. Last time I did,in absolute agony, asked the receptionist would I was supposed to do, she said ring 111, I did...was on hold for 5 hours, they did apologize twice, asked if I wanted to carry on holding,I gave up. If I could have got some treatment,it would have been pretty simple,if nothing happens soon,it will mean surgery. Last time I had to wait a staggering 5 weeks for a phone appointment with the nurse.
