@Nanny Beach we don't eat an entire pudding pizza it's a slice each, I hadn't figured out what @MikeOxgreen was on about (it must have been the mad sugar rush) but thanks for the help I'm now enlightened 😜. Mind I'm absolutely tea total, don't smoke, don't usually have any sweets or dessert, I do an hour on my rowing machine daily, do a very physical job and spend many hours digging compost. Think the above means I'm reasonably ok but I'm so pleased your concerned 🤣🤣🤣

I don't think you have anything to worry about @Wilderbeast, and some folk just like to make comments. Maybe without thinking.....maybe... ;)
I don't think I've ever had a sweet pizza though. Not sure I'd fancy that. The raspberries and chocolate would be fine though - and maybe a few marshmallows  :)
I don't smoke or drink either, so the odd sweet treat is perfectly fine instead.
I'd have yours @Dovefromabove - but you can keep the anchovies and olives thanks  :D

Morning @Nanny Beach - I'm not a huge pizza fan, but I sometimes share a little supermarket one with younger daughter. Thin crust ones only - I hate all that thick stuff!

I'm liking that @Dovefromabove very nice. It's roast chicken and everything else in the pizza oven tonight
sorry the picture didn't load then loaded twice
I bricked in the pizza oven and covered it in sand so it's very heavily insulated a good fire at dinner means by tea the oven holds a temp of 180° for about 10 hours perfect for the roast tea
  • A bit of a trek for you @Wilderbeast (although it is downhill all the way) but anyone else in the Stamford area can get pizzas almost as good as mine 😉 at the Tobie Norris https://www.kneadpubs.co.uk/the-tobie-norris/food-and-drink-menus … they know how to keep their beer too. 😎

Wilderbeast, don't panic, you don't have to justify yourself to me. Folk who have known me on here for years, know I'm not unpleasant or nasty. The oven does look glorious. I have to confess, I put a curmudgeon a few weeks ago,we had a gorgeous warm Sunday,2big loads of washing out(the grandkids had stayed,so double the amount) windows open.  It was sunny and windy, perfect drying weather.. All of a sudden, thick weird smelly smoke inside(open plan) hubby said BBQ, I said it didn't smell like food cooking or BBQ, nope... neighbours had firepit,a few feet from my window!!!
  • Pizza...yeah luv 'em. Especially with prawns. Pudding pizza??...err, no, not for me.

I'm very impressed @Widerbeast, both the pizzas and the oven made to your usual high standards. Great to see, hope you and family enjoyed the evening.

@Woodgreen our evenings cooking and eating outside are great, no technology apart from the lights and everybody including the teenage son will happily converse with a smile while eating good food.

When did this site morph into something so puritanical? We have friends coming for lunch today - have to get out the rusks and half a jug of water.
