  I agree - we used to have a paraffin heater in the greenhouse when I was a child.
  I can remember the windows had a film of sooty condensation and smell was awful.

  Paraffin can also fill your GH with soot if the wick isn't right. Electricity is much easier to control and it's cleaner.

  Use an electric fan heater turned to maximum and control it with a thermostat at the plug.

  Paraffin heaters aren't always reliable either. Occasionally mine went out for no apparent reason in the night.

  @micxsa Given the expense involved in heating at present,  what plants are you planning to keep in the GH over winter ?
  Depending on your location and the plants involved, it may be that you could get away with some careful protection.
  Probably need to give a bit more info on your set up to gain some useful advice.
  As others have said, paraffin isn't the best choice due to the humidity if nothing else.
