    There is a quick method of contacting our local council for cleaning etc. I think it is called 'Fix my street' or something like that.
    Our very prolific Beech trees have covered the lane along side us with millions of beech nuts. No pavement so they are all on the road. I certainly am not going to take a brush to them on a busy road!

    I use 'Fix My Street' quite often. If the trees are a real problem, mail your councillors or going along to a surgery. Mine live arond the corner from me, so I bang on their door and am a general PITA. You should have regular street sweepers coming by, I should think.
