Regardless of your opinion of the monarchy, the Queen has been an ever present for many of us. She has done her job with dignity and grace in often difficult circumstances. While I may not feel the grief I felt at losing family members I certainly feel a great sense of loss.

Lots of people care. We can respect their feelings. The vast majority of the UK have known only her as the monarch through our whole lives. As a figure this means a lot.
I can't imagine anyone would have flagged or modded posts on this thread. The site has many glitches.
