No idea what you are on about, but usually when you post at night it is unpleasant and best ignored.

It’s why I didn’t reply to him @punkdoc … homebrew seems to release the inner idiot  …,  however yes, nearly fifty years ago I had two children (replacement number) … however neither of my offspring have children and are unlikely to have any now … so my family will not be responsible for increasing the population.

It’s a difficult subject … one that many people are afraid to tackle … either because of the many sensitivities,  or because when the subject is raised allegations, calumnies and slurs are hurled about by the prejudiced.

However, if human beings don’t face up to the damage we are causing by the impact of our increasing numbers … then there really is no hope …

I agree with all DA says .it’s difficult to get folk to go along with even some of it .I have 2 sons only one of which has had children ,but he has4 .He knew I didn’t approve of bringing so many into this struggling world of ours but his wife is one of those women who seems to be put on this earth to mother .
Many women feel this way so I really don’t think that controlling the world’s population is the way to go …….also many cultures still hold many offspring as a status symbol.
we must learn to live alongside our native creatures and try not to be aggressive towards them and maybe one day it’ll all come good .

Maybe it's time to stop child benefit?
Ironically, the Green Party want to INCREASE it.

That's because they realised that the 'green' stance alone wasn't winning them enough votes.

But being related to a woman who has had 10 children, never works, and is living in a large council property with everything paid for by tax-payers - I agree wholeheartedly.

Just worth bearing in mind, that when we are all old, and needing care, some of these kids are going to be the ones who look after us.
