Yes, the forum struggles on, year after year, surviving the criticism of those who say, we are doing it all wrong and that it is run by a cabal of dinosaurs. Thank goodness there are people like you, to point out our many errors.

At it's best the forum is a place for discussion, curiosity and exploration of evidence, not yells of "bah, humbug" and "I know best!".
I know you didn't actually mean to be funny but your use of the phrase "bah humbug" did make me smile. I don't think I've ever actually heard anyone say that other than the actor who played Victor Meldrew - an excellent portrayal of a grumpy old bugger. Perhaps it could be used more often on the forum ? I for one would find it slightly less contentious than some of the other language
