    @Slow-worm have you signed up to BBC Sounds?  It's free ... you don't have to have a TV licence ... and there's loads of wonderful podcasts to listen to ......

    It's fine ... you don't need one for BBC Sounds.  It says so on the BBC website.  😇

    Sparrows have reduced the flowers on shrubs and the Runner Beans, berries on the Pyracantha, whilst we enjoy watching them they are anti social.

    Any idea what the sparrows in my cherry plum are after?
    I've been giving it a hard prune ( I know it's the wong time of year but they've practically killed it anyway). I didn't come across a single bug of any description anywhere. It's bugless.  They seem to be getting behind the remaining leaves and giving the top of the stems a vigorous shake.

    They’re still looking for bugs is my guess .

    I suppose so. Well they're out of luck.  Like ourselves,they should have taken more care of their environment.😒
