Hellebore flowering in July!

    It's not uncommon for lots of plants to flower 'out of season', but it often just depends on the conditions. 
    I have a dark hellebore which frequently flowered right through summer. It hasn't done if for a few years though.
    Native primulas flower on and off all year round here. I've got some flowering just now. Not as many as usual, as I divided  a lot of them in spring when they finished  :)

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
