Honest opinion... What does it look like?

Have slowly added Achillea golden plates, gaura rosy Jane, gaura whirling butterflies, lollipop verbena and tall verbena, salvia hotlips, Mexican feather grass another one and pinched some Japanese anemones from my dad's garden that are just budding up now. Also a couple of cosmos which will be lemon colour.

You have a lovely selection of plants that the wildlife will love as well as it looking beautiful. Good mix of flower shapes, heights and colours... Really pretty flower bed!

I agree ... I think it looks lovely ... I'd just make it deeper so there's even more room for more of the same  :)

I like it a lot. The pink and yellow combo won't be to everyone's taste though. The most important thing is - do you like it?

Considering it t was all lawn a year ago, I'm pretty happy with it so far. Nice to see butterflies and bees on the flowers and some movement in the garden 🙂

Yes, the real issue is whether YOU like it. It's your garden. If you are happy, no-one else matters!
  • Which are the delicate looking, pretty pink flower at the front of your border? I love it. It all looks very natural ... just how I like a garden. Wish you could come and design mine for me! 🙂

It's gaura rosy Jane. It just keeps on flowering on delicate stems that move in the wind. I have gaura whirling butterflies which Is white. I ordered them last autumn and I'm well pleased with them.
  • Thank you ... I will see if I can find some for my garden. 😊
