Yes … the last Virtual Party we had was at your place @punkdoc … you must have the Tardis stowed away somewhere …

I will go and search it out. Probably covered with brambles in the jungle which used to be our orchard.
So glad it is going to be cooler tomorrow, we are off to York Gate gardens and then for dinner at the Angel at Hetton.
How can you lie there and think of England

That will be a grand day out @punkdoc . York Gate is on my list - always looks lovely in the photos. The Angel is also on the list.

Can recommend Keelham Farm Shop in Skipton for bringing back some foodie souvenirs😋

i might be totally wrong, but please feel assured that odd feelings after a fight against extraordinary heat when the next day is the first cooler day are more common than we think. Life came to a standstill in the days before and the days were occupied by a permanent struggle to cope with the heat.
Do something that is good for you- what ever this is 😀

Very happy to meet you too @Xenobia . Hope the glums pass soon but, meantime, be kind to yourself 🙂

It's interesting that you say that @Simone_in_Wiltshire, l have been feeling distinctly out of sorts today, but l couldn't say why. Your explanation makes perfect sense.

l have some strawberries and double cream in the fridge 😊, will that do ?

@Xenobia, this place is definitely nice, l have made some very good friends here.

Coming late too this party (as usual), this forum is always like a big hug to me. Always welcoming and ignoring of our faults. Even excuses me when I disappear for months on end…
