If only, @Dovefromabove......... just think how much I could change the world, and of course THFC would win everything, always.

I haven’t been able to work out it’s sex yet. It ran off when I got close.  Another couple of days might do it. 👏👏

Properly p***ed off this morning. Cool and dry here, so I headed out to the garden. I decided to head down into the woodland and check out the arum lilies in the bog garden, and get rid of some brambles. However I couldn’t get down the path. Completely blocked with bamboo. I’ve just spent two hours pulling out what I can, the roots were so thick and convoluted, and had spread across the path. All seems to have spread while my back was turned. Between that and the gaultheria shallon which is also plotting a takeover bid, I am almost at my wits end. Didn’t actually end up in tears, but as near to it as I ever get.
Can’t see my productivity improving either,  my shoulder regularly plays up, and I’m supposed to be avoiding heavy lifting, so everything is definitely getting away from me. I am considering contacting the local garden clearance people who offer to restore gardens from chaos, and try them out to blitz a couple of areas for starters. They have a very good reputation. Either that or move house, or possibly just run away!
Anyway, sorry for the rant. At least I had the company of some baby robins while I was working, although they are already getting very territorial and several quite physical fights broke out. I shall do something calming later, like deadheading the bottlebrush plant!

Oh @Ergates what a PITA. I’ve been out there chopping back the Centranthus and euphorbias (yes I had long sleeves and gloves Wonky) but it’s way too hot out there now 29C and rising. I’m back indoors …

Very pretty hosta there, @punkdoc - pop a couple of cherry tomatoes in there and it would look just like a bowl of fresh salad  :)

I've been awol for a while - work is manic and we've had visitors and OH and I have been having long discussions about a decision we needed to make. Think we've made our minds up now, so I have a little more head space to dawdle until the next one comes along. Seem to have a few of these coming along just now, but it's all positive so nothing to stress about.

I need to do some shopping - we've a wedding to go to in a couple of weeks. It's so long since I've been anywhere, I can't even remember what I already have.....

Small and perfectly formed, and the Hostas not bad either.
