    Evening everyone.

So sad about the fires and losses - not something we don’t expect in this country.Ā

Tired from Aunty duties today. Will be doing a sleepover or two later in the summer hols so I’ll need to book a week off to recover!Ā

Rain forecast tonight so I’m hoping it will give the garden a well overdue watering.Ā

Take care all. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, rain or shine.Ā

Really sad to hear about the fire at Brancaster Staithe @Dovefromabove, I spent one or two holidays there as a youngster and OH and I drove through there a while back just for old times sake.

Just shoved my face out the patio doors for a bit of fresh air and it seems we've had some more rain, don't know how much but every bit helps. I finally managed to do all the stacked up ironing this afternoon so hopefully gardening for me tomorrow, weather permitting.

Enjoy your Sunday and stay safe everyone.

Hello Forkers. Ā Sad to see those photos Dove. It looks more like Oz than England. Ā I hope no lives were lost.Ā

    Good morning all 😊 ā˜•ļø Hello @Pat E 😊 ā˜•ļøĀ
18C bright with some high cloud and again some occasional swirling gusts of wind here … temperatures in the low 30s are forecast for today … I’ll get the watering done then shut the blinds and prep more beans while I catch up with the athletics. It’s a hard life šŸ˜‰Ā

Ā Hi again Dove. We’ve been out the back again cutting more wood. Amazing how much we are getting through.Ā

Ā I got Hubby to stop down near the shed on the way back to see if I could spot the little goat. It was hiding in our hay shed. 😁. Ran for its life when I spoke to it. I’ve ring a neighbour who has goats to ask if she’s missing one, but no answer . Ā It’ll be ok for another night I suppose.

Well at least you know it's found some shelter ... is there a way of shutting the hay shed to keep it in so the owner can catch it?Ā

    Hi all

We've had rain overnight, but not enough to make a difference.
Yesterday I was able to walk across our pond without getting my feet wet, the first time I have been able to do this in 26 years.
