Is this a tobacco plant?

I left this plant while I was weeding - I was hoping it's tobacco as I know there was one there before.

I tried looking online for tobacco to see what they look like.

Can anyone tell me is this is tobacco or not? If not I'd like to get rid of it.

The first picture is from a few weeks ago, and the others are from today.

    Probably, it looks like flower buds there, but it also looks like it is suffering with a virus.

    I think that this is Curly dock (Rumex crispus). Have a lot of them on my field. Also I grove tobacco, and he has gentle, soft pale green leaves with fine hairs.

    Doesn't look right for tobacco plant. Leaves too shiny.

    Ah, thank you Ante1 and B3. Yeah those leaves have a bit of a shine and are not furry at all.

    The flower buds look sort of right. I'd wait and see what you've got before pulling it out

    The older photo does look like a Nicotiana species, so I fear the recent ones are diseased plants

    I see! I suppose those buds will open up soon.

    It's a pity it has got some kind of disease now. I wonder if I should get rid of it to stop it spreading the disease around, or if it can be treated ...

    edited to add: I don't think I will get rid of it, I'll let the buds open

    I just had a thought - could it possibly be yellowed from a cat spraying on it?  There are a number of local touring tom cats around.
