Another vote for Royal Bumble, also Clotted Cream, Lemon Pie, Blue Merced, Dilly Dilly, La Mancha, Radio Red and Cherry Pie. I have just bought Harvest Sunset. I could go on 😊. I find the white ones don't seem to flower quite so much and the bees aren't so keen on them.
Of the nemerosa types Caradonna is the one for me.
I love them all except the "lips" bicolours but I think my most favourite (at the moment) is probably Lena. Nice clear pink, large-ish flowers and good glossy leaves. I really like the first one I ever got which is a strong grower and bright magenta pink, but it came from a plant sale and was only labelled "Salvia gregii". It's similar to Cerro Potosi in flowers but has a fuller, bushier habit.
Nachtvlinder and Blue Note are better colours but the flowers are much smaller and Nachtvlinder has thuggish tendencies, spreading underground (good in the right place but be careful where you put it). I'm liking Blue Merced as well, but I've only had it a few years so the jury is still out. Dyson's Joy has fantastic flowers but I find it has quite a weak habit. Lemon Light is very pretty but also seems to have a less strong constitution.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
I like Salvia Nemorosa "Blauhugel", a lovely blue, bees love it, not too tall about 40cm so good at the front of a border. Hardy. But not always easy to find, Peter Beales usually have it.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Sorry you don't appreciate opinions @Fire, but I think it is still ok to have opinions.
