    The soil from molehills comes from several inches below the surface so is unlikely to have many/any seeds in it. 😊

    Some note that it may have mole poo in it and so make it too rich for seeds...

    It’s unlikely to have mole poo in it either … it’s the soil that’s excavated when they’re building their tunnels .., not when they’re living in them … and the soil is excavated very quickly … a molehill ‘happens’ in a matter of minutes.

    The GPS tracking of mole poo location in tunnels would make for an interesting phd.

    @ Fire...I do love your idea of mole poo...it would make a brilliant thesis...unique springs to mind...a first for sure.
  • I’ve used it many a time, they sift it beautifully and it’s so easy to use.  I mix it with compost to eke both out.
