    If it can be done in the isle of white ,then there is no reason why it cannot be done here.The last red i saw was in the lake district.LOads of pines there.

    Last year they took the only two apples that i had on my fruit trees,and took all of my grapes.

    Same here for apples - this year i have hung smelly soap in the trees and they have taken a couple but left us some. I am hoping that as the trees get more prolific there will be enough to shareimage

    greys should be eradicated from this country

    I have noticed one thing and that is an increase in buzzards.maybe this may help.

    We get red squirrels here and I'm happy to let them help themselves from the bird table although they don't hang around for very long. image

    Paula,where abouts do you live? Maybe we all could build a map up to get some idea just how far the grey squirrel has pushed them?.
