I seem to pull to the plantain family - I have quite a few in my garden - veronicas, snap dragons, penstemons, linaria.

@Fire On my garden site I have a feature to search my plants database by families (colour, flowering season, etc.). Currently I have 9 plants belonging to the Plantaginaceae family. The most represented families being the Ranunculaceae and the Rosaceae.

Thanks from me too Fire. It's given me inspiration to mix and match in a new path from the back door, across granite chips to the steps up to the level above the drive.

@Heartinthedirt @Crazybeelady,  just wondering what you both made of your first visit visit to GW Live ?

I did like it @AnniD, though I guess I was hoping to at least catch a glimpse of Monty or Adam but no. Not sure why really! It was possibly a lot busier inside as everyone was sheltering from the rain, but that did mean it was quieter outside. I'm not a massive fan of crowded places but you have to suck it up I guess. Saw lots of lovely plants- I was eyeing up the penstemons too. I found that most of the stuff I liked wasn't for sale, was part of a display, and the stuff on sale was nothing you can't get in a regular garden centre, so I mainly took pics of plants and their names for future purchases!

Glad you enjoyed it generally @Crazybeelady. I once walked past Alan Titchmarsh who was studiously avoiding making eye contact with anyone, and stood so close to Monty that if he'd spoken to me l don't think l could have uttered a word.
I remember feeling sorry for him, he was surrounded by "ladies of a certain age" who were staring at him like he was a prize exhibit. I think we were all a bit overcome, it was very strange seeing someone "off the telly" in the flesh.
