At this stage it looks like one of the parasols cochinella but it's at this stage of fungi growth that I find most frustrating because they look similar to others.
I have to say though that I'm pleased that more fungi is being posted on here because it makes me research and therefore learn so thank you.

One of our fungi bods will be able to id for us I'm sure.

thank you @Uff. As a young child my uncle used to take us urchins to pick mushrooms, I wish I had paid attention. Thanks to your thread here I developed another fixation 😂. Something else to notice in nature: great!!

Do you by any chance have a younger specimen that might make it more easily identifiable please?

Those look like one of the fibrecaps, Inocybe. It is very difficult to identify which one it might be as they are the archetypical LBMs (Little Brown Mushrooms).

I think I have found a baby one about 4 metres away from the others. It is tiny: 1cm across.

this is the best I can do photo-wise.

The gill picture is lovely cocchinella.

    You're getting good at this @Uff :)

Lovely clear picture of the collar at the top of the stem in your second photo @coccinella it is a useful identifying characteristic.

Aw shucks, coming from my guru that's a compliment. I'm blushing like mad.

Just taken a pick of some slime fungi that I'll post later after another foray up in the wood when I hope to come up with more finds.
