Worst gardening injury/fail?

    Well, nearly cut the soft pad of my thumb off this afternoon. Fortunately I hadn't got my secateurs positioned properly in my hand so I couldn't squeeze hard on the handles but I sliced deeply into the flesh. I've got it pinned together with that white tape stuff that butterfly stitch things are made of. I'll see what it's like in the morning and if it needs a couple of stitches I'll pop down to the docs and see the nurse.

    I did the same to mine with a hedgetimmer. 
    I had to go to the Military Hospital in Aldershot. 
    Lots of lovely men in uniform.
