I certainly take extra care with electric machinery, ladders and canes.
Don't hurry, take your sweet time; don't garden (or do DIY) when you are stressed or panicking; don't stretch or balance on one leg (move the ladder etc).
When I was a kid, parents had new carpet fitted, there was a pile of carpet grippers in the garden, I decided it would be fun to climb it wearing foam flip flops, got a massive nail in my heel!!
Not as bad as the wasp stings, or the time OH sawed off a branch and it fell on my head ( went to A and E, nurse advised there was a very long wait and told me I might as well go home and come back if I got symptoms!) However, after today’s gardening binge, I wouldn’t recommend accidentally brushing a nettle across your top lip.
Just to lighten the mood for all but the person on the receiving end at least ---- another farming incident. A friend and his father were dipping their sheep, which meant herding them through a long narrow of trough filled with some disinfectant/antiseptic solution. In order to ensure they were fully covered his father had to push each one under water for a couple of seconds. He thought it would be easier to do with his foot, and it probably was until his foot slipped off the back of the sheep and he ended up in the dip himself. No long standing issues other than having the P taken unmercifully.
Try getting down from the top of ladder when your trousers have fallen down round your ankles. Now that is a funny sight. We killed ourselves laughing when it happened to my father. In the end we had to go up the ladder and lift his pants up for him.

Let's just hpe he wasn't " going commando " that day
