Where did you buy the seed @Helentraynor? I don't grow chillies, but I don't think the seed looks like tomato seed. Probably a good idea to do as @JennyJ says, and get a plant or two that's already doing well. Then just keep your toms going
Labelling is always important. It's very easy to completely forget what's in tray and pots, especially if you're sowing a lot of different things.
