    I’m not surprised, Punkdoc. 🙄 That’s such a steep mtn.

    The shortlist of the Eurovision acts have been picked, so we will see who gets to the next stage. I’m glad that Ukraine got through, as well as Australia (a pretend European artist).

    Im not sure what got into Hubby yesterday, but he got my old Sarah Brown vegetarian cookbooks out and picked one he felt like having a go at. It was very nice, but then I’m biased. Love my vegs. Luckily I still had tins of Chick Peas and various other ingredients in the back of the cupboard. 😂😂. And! There’s enough left for tonight as well.
     He asked if we have red lentils - he would have seen them on the high shelf in the front if he’d looked (der).   Never mind, he doesn’t usually go to that cupboard.🤭😁

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️  it’s a lovely sunny morning, but quite breezy … the branches on the big oak at the top of the rise are moving quite a bit.

    Hello @Pat E … the friend we have staying with us next week is vegetarian … we eat lots of veg anyway and often have several veggie meals a week.

    @Busy-Lizzie for coffee later …

    Morning all.
    Having coffee in bed at the moment @Dovefromabove. See you later.

    My brother should be coming this evening.

    Dove, we aren't vegetarian, but I could easily become one.  I can happily eat meat meals which Hubby prepares, but my preference is for veg.    Also, I’m trying to have two fish meals a week for my eye health. Doesn’t always work out that way though. 🤭

    Hi all

    Very blowy day here, but lots to do.
    Visiting MIL is proving a very expensive business, it is our turn again in August, but we spent too much at the hotel, so have booked a cottage for a week.

    Morning all.

    A day of tidying and watering, getting everything ready for a few days absence.  Chicklets will look after things but need to make it as easy as possible.

    Went to a workshop on Pelargoniums at Hardys Plants yesterday - really good.  Took lots of notes and came home with a few beauties too 😀
