Oh dear, though it was,  I've never had the problem so can’t recommend anything,  I would have a google and see what you can come up with.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

We don't really get problems with them here either @Lyn - the right climate for them.
The problem with conifers getting pests is that it's usually because they're already under stress, and that's mostly due to drought in the vast majority of cases. In the right conditions, they're pretty trouble free.
All you can do is water them well over the next month or two and see if they revive. If they're too far gone, there's nothing you can do anyway. As I said earlier, often by the time problems appear, it's too late to help.

If you add some organic matter after a real soaking, that will help to stop it evaporating as quickly too. Bark is particularly good for any conifer.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

My hedge gets them in bits but the hedge is so huge it doesn’t cause massive issues.

I did use a spray from Wilko (a natural one) on the bits closest to the house and the webs disappeared. They’re back now so I’ll probably give it another spray and give it a good water. We’ve barely had rain since February.

Thank you @TheGreenMan @Fairygirl @Lyn I sprayed the conifers down yesterday with my jet wash (at a distance) to give them a good watering and remove any unwanted visitors, I will be doing this again over the next three days and then will monitor the situation.

Anyone used Neem Oil before? It is a natural pesticide it's either that or get myself an army of ladybugs :)

I’ve not tried it. If mine gets any worse I may consider it.

I’ve got a 160 foot hedge (around three quarters of the back garden; length not height 😂 ) so the odd brown end here and there doesn’t stick out.

Weirdly I’ve noticed lots of coal tits on the hedge this morning pecking at it……I wonder if they’re helping me out? 🤷🏽

Is this normal growth or are the ends looking unwell?
