  • when I moved into my house I dug up the front and back lawn.i couldn't bear the idea of mowing having seen my dad cut it almost every day and spend so much time doing it and moaning about it! I have a dog too and wanted her to enjoy all of the garden.now my dad died last year and me and my husband are mowing the lawn.i hate it!!

    You really don't have to have a lawn. I'm not able to advise, but post some photos, I'm sure you'll get some ideas to reduce it if not eliminate it  @the tidy gardener

  • oh that's a whole new can of worms!! it's a big house and a big garden with my mum a little old lady who doesn t want to move.can afford to stay there for now but the garden was a full time job for my dad.now I do it....
