It does look like a miniature thyme plant @BlueBirder

It looks like my recent weed which was identified here - I thought it was Thyme like but no smell.  https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/1063683/please-id-this-in-my-veg-patch#latest

I have plenty of scarlet pimpernel too. I foolishly let it have free rein for a while but I'm quite fond if it in small doses @Ilikeplants😊

I’ve got the same as well but someone said it was the red/orange flowers so I didn’t comment.
It does get small white flowers but very tiny and very low growing and creeping.
Be nice to know what it is, I know you have to dig it out, it doesn’t pull up.

@Ilikeplants I would say your plant is thyme-leaved speedwell too. It has very tiny, white to pale blue flowers, and if you get a good look at them they are slightly asymmetrical in shape. The leaves look like thyme but don't smell. It's pretty common on bare or waste ground as well as in verges and patchy woodlands.

Sounds right @BlueBirder - it’s been removed from my veg bed along with lots of forgetmenot seedlings.

This is the flower, it’s a bit less than a quarter of an inch.  Little blue lines in the middle.

Looks similar  but the leaves don't  seem to develop that shape @Lyn
