Oh dear..so sorry. I hate to be negative. It is not Griselinia. The veins on Griselinia leaves are very distinctive...see below. They radiate like a fan from the stalk end' Leaves are rather round and fat in the middle Mystery plant has elegant slim leaves
Im not good at shrubs, but the photos remind me of choisya …
To help others to see the difference ..... Choisya leaves are not single, individual leaves. Choisya ternata are in 3's...one stalk, 3 leaflets. While others such as Choisya Aztec Pearl are in divided narrow fingers. The flowers can have 6 petals and the stamens stand to attention in the centre ...they remind me of a tiara. So sorry Dove this is another to be ruled out.

You can rule that out as leaves are opposite and flowers are 4 petalled.
1. Osmanthus burkwoodii.
2 and 3. Osmanthus delaveyii.
