@Hostafan1 sooo cute.  Evening all,  been tired today after spending yesterday with the boys. We went to Firstborns so they could play with Mabel for a while and then popped into a garden centre where they spent some time in the playground and eating ice cream.
Called Secondborn today and she is aching from head to foot after completing the Wolf Run yesterday good job the boys are being good for her.
I've been out in the garden watering and tidying.  Had to deadhead a lot of daffs.  No sign of the dahlias yet.
    Hope everyone enjoys their evening.

I ache from head to foot and my back's killing me - but we've got most of her garden tidied, weeded and planted up. I also planted 6 pink phormiums I gave her which I had been able to split. The roses are all pruned and tied in, 6 were dug up and binned as being too old and scraggy and the rest fed and mulched.

Tired but happy - home tomorrow.

Send me some of that rain please. Water butts are empty, pond right down, every watering can full dechlorinating, and the old man has just got the hose out.  Much fing and blinding as it got caught round everything.

    Evening.

Managed most of the day in the garden. Free therapy! Spring is making its mark as it paints green all over the garden. The apple tree in full blossom is a highlight at this time of year. Nearly culled a Eunonymus, which has always looked a bit out of place in the front garden, but I did my signature crown lift prune and mulched under with bark and it looks much better!

    Those chicks Hosta! Delightful.

Yes everything is so dry for so early in the year. Nothing left in the butts and pond looking a bit low too.

I hope everyone is doing ok. Have a good week folks.

Morning all, woke really early this morning for a change. Sitting in bed waiting for daughter to wake up so I can go and make a cup of tea. I don't ache as much as I thought I might after yesterday's all day gardening.

Looks nice and sunny out there so good for journey home this morning.

Morning folks, wall to wall sun again. Forecast keep promising rain. Lizzie 27,woke up early, were you sitting waiting ages for your tea? Our place is open plan, hubby gets up when he wakes up, some times will go back to sleep on the sofa, then I have to wait for my tea,I can't put the kettle on, because of the noise. Off to the tip today, mostly cardboard from daughters house move.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
a slightly busy day today as the car is having its MOT and a faulty sensor replaced. The garage chap usually gets his dad to drive me back home and then pick me up again, but he’s out of action at the moment having just had a cataract done … so I’ve booked a cab.
Fingers crossed that all is straight forward 🤞

    Hi all

Fairly grey day and had a frost last night.
Things are very hectic in the garden, so another busy day ahead.

    Good morning to everyone!

ANZAC Day today and also marks Liberation Day in Italy.

A fine day - some wind.    What darling wee ducklings @Hostafan1  Spring has sprung!!

Having a friend over for lunch today so  spent  yesterday afternoon preparing a spicy chicken marsala.  All I have to do is the rice and a green salad.

Aches and twinges aside - enjoy the first day of the week!!
