@Wild_Violet looks like a montana type e.g van reubens by the bud, they are very tough and grow like mad! We will be able to tell better when it opens, but that looks like mine. Pretty 4 petal flowers which you see smothering fences etc in spring.
A couple of warm days and the garden's looking like a national collection holder (I wish 🙄). Westerplatte's really getting into its stride now: Polish Spirit; didn't start flowering last year until beginning of June: One Acropolis flower; my phone camera's having a hard time giving a true rendition of its colour - suffice to say it really is er, charmingly garish 🙂
There's also a couple of Voluceau flowers but they're not open enough to really see the colour yet; give'em another day
I love my C. SAPHYRA Double Rose, at all stages of blooming. I only regret that it stubbornly refuses to climb up its treillis. Definitely a bushy habit!
